AIIMS New Delhi will conduct the counselling of AIIMS MBBS 2018 in the online mode for the first time ever. The online AIIMS MBBS 2018 counselling will tentatively begin from July 3, 2018. Online AIIMS MBBS counselling 2018 will likely be held in four rounds, namely first, second, third online counselling rounds, followed by an open round counselling. AIIMS MBBS 2018 counselling first round will be held from July 3 to 6, 2018, followed by second counselling round to be held on August 3, 2018 and third AIIMS MBBS counselling round to be held on September 5, 2018. The result of AIIMS MBBS will declare the candidates eligible for participating in first round of online AIIMS MBBS counselling 2018.

The link to register for AIIMS MBBS 2018 counselling will be made available here as soon as the registrations are open. Candidates equal to four times the total number of seats in each category will be shortlisted for the counselling. In all likelihood, AIIMS MBBS 2018 online counselling process will include one- time online registration, exercising of choice preferences amongst available AIIMS institutions, mock allocation, and re- shuffling of choices, allocation of seats and acceptance/rejection of seat by the candidate. Candidates who will be allocated a seat will be required to deposit their original certificates and fee at the allotted institution. Documents for AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2018

Before filling the application form of AIIMS MBBS 2018, the candidates were required to keep some documents ready beforehand. Since the candidates were submitting their personal and academic information, they were advised to keep all of the related certificates ready for reference. The scanned image files of their photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression also had to be kept ready according to the below-mentioned specifications.

The application form is available on the official website from 05 February 2018 (Monday). The last date to apply for the AIIMS MBBS exam 2018 is 05 March 2018 (till 05:00 PM).

 

How To Apply

The following steps are required to be followed for filling the online application form –
  • Visit the official website for AIIMS exams.
  • Click on the “Academic Courses” tab on the homepage.
  • Click on “MBBS” under “Undergraduate” column.
  • A pop-up window will appear, click on “Proceed” button.
  • Click on “Click Here” button under “New Registration” section.
  • Read the details of documents required for the online application, make sure you are ready with them and click on “Proceed” button.
  • Read the instructions carefully and again click on “Proceed”
  • Complete the Registration process by providing the details asked for.
  • You will receive the user id and password on your registered email id.
  • Use the user id and password to log in and complete the remaining steps of the registration process such as documents upload, fee payment etc.
  • Take a print out of the confirmation page.

Exam Pattern

Before register for the JEE Advanced examination, candidates must check eligibility criteria first. If candidates will not satisfy the given eligibility criteria, their registration will be cancelled.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of AIIMS Nursing is given here separately for all the courses:

 

B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing:

  • Nationality: Students must be an Indian citizen.
  • Qualifying Exam: Students must passed 10+2 or equivalent examination form recognized board with PCB and English Subjects.
  • Age Criteria: The age of the students should be 17 years as on 31st December 2018.
  • Appearing Candidates: Appearing students can also apply.
  • Only female candidates can apply for this course.
  • Candidates have to score 50% marks for general and 45% marks for categories in PCB and English subjects.

 

B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic):

  • Qualifying exam: Student should passed 12th or its equivalent examination. Also, Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Must Registered as Nurse, Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM) with State Nursing Council.

 

M.Sc. Nursing:

  • Qualifying Exam: Students must have the degree in B.Sc (Hons.)/B.Sc Nursing (Post-Certificate/Post Basic/B.Sc Nursing.
  • Minimum Marks: It is necessary to score 60% marks in aggregate for General/OBC and 55% marks for SC/ST in the qualifying exam.

 

Age

Candidate should have attained or will attain 17 (seventeen) years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission (2018). This means, the candidate born on or after 2nd January 2002 are NOT eligible for the AIIMS MBBS 2018 exam.

 

Nationality

Citizens of India, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Non-Resident Indians (NRI) are eligible to appear for the exam.

 

Reservation of Seats
