What is the mouse accuracy test?
A mouse accuracy test measures how precisely and quickly you can click small on-screen targets. On soexam.learnoscale.com the free test spawns targets that shrink as they age: you get an accuracy percentage (hits per click), target efficiency (targets hit before they vanished), a combo streak and a trace of the path your mouse took. A good score is above 80% accuracy on Normal difficulty with medium targets. It runs in the browser with nothing to install and no account needed to play.

Tips to get a better score
- Aim for accuracy first: a missed click resets your combo and cuts your end-of-round bonus.
- Overshooting targets? Lower your mouse sensitivity (DPI) a little.
- Turn off Enhance pointer precision on Windows — acceleration makes the same hand movement travel different distances.
- Make the big move with your arm and the last correction with your wrist.
- Five focused minutes a day beats one long session: precision degrades as your hand tires.

How is the score calculated?
Each hit scores by target size — larger targets are worth fewer points than small ones. Hitting several in a row applies a combo multiplier, each missed click costs a point and resets the combo, and at the end you get a bonus equal to your accuracy percentage of the points you scored.
How can I improve my mouse accuracy?
Lower your mouse sensitivity if you overshoot targets, turn off pointer acceleration (Enhance pointer precision on Windows), move with your arm and finish with your wrist, and practise for five minutes a day rather than one long session.
Does it work on a laptop trackpad or a touchscreen?
Yes. A trackpad and a touchscreen both work, though scores are not comparable with a mouse — a trackpad has far less travel, so the same person will usually score lower on one.
